Solyndra-gate?

4 Nov

Dear America,

Is alternative energy really the answer to all of America’s problems?  Could relying on wind and solar power pull America out of this recession?  The Obama administration certainly thought so, and we see where that has led.  Large sums of American tax money has been thrown after the crumbling green energy company Solyndra.  Many more “green” companies have been given tax breaks along with all sorts of incentives to succed, yet they really haven’t.  Why is this?  Why even after the Obama administration has crushed the opposing coal and oil companies?  The answer is simple Americans are not stupid.  Don’t get me wrong we all love this land and want to keep Amerca beautiful from “sea to shining sea”, but quite frankly liberals have gone way overboard with environmental regulation.  The truth is to be totally relient on any form of energy green or otherwise is unwise.  It would be comparable to being totally relient on carrots.  What happens when a drought occurs and carrots do not grow for a season?  Therefore, it is my belief that America should continue importing oil while the getting is good, but also drill ourselves.  Continue to seek alternative energy sources, but only by private euntrepenuers, thus ensuring that only profitable alternative sources will be researched.  Again I say the government most retract itself from American business, and let capitalism reign.  If solar energy becomes profitable I promise it will become a major industry, yet if the solar power industry is unprofitable it is best that it is not a part of our economy.  Therefore, let Solyndra be yet another lesson as to why government should have boundaries.

Sincerely,

Uncle Sam

Occupy Wall Street and the first ammendment

31 Oct

Dear America,

It’s definitely obvious why liberals are usually against the first amendment. Just take a look at what they perceive the rights of the first amendment. We shall look at the occupy Wall Street protests as our sample group of liberals. They see the right to assemble as a right to build a ghetto in American cities. They see the right to free speech as the right to stink because quite frankly their has been no speech made by the movement. The right to petition as the right to slander capitalism; which by the way is paying a majority of the taxes in this country which allows their protest. Along with their perversion of the freedom of religion as the freedom to disobey all laws God’s and man’s. Therefore I must conclude that as conservatives we must continue to demonstrate the real first amendment through avenues such as the Tea Party.

Sincerely,
Uncle Sam

Uncle Sam

31 Oct

Dear America,

The next year will be an absoluetly crucial time in the history of our great nation.  It saddens my heart to see the state that we are in.  We were a naton founded upon independence, yet now we may be the most dependent people of the world.  Th e genral population seems to have become dependent on the government, and the government is depeendemt upon debt.  The only thing we seem to be adimently independent of is a conscience.  Therefore, it is time that we own up to our wrongs and once again walk the straight and narrow path entrusted to us by God.  Wake up America,  you are crumbling.  However it is not to late to save ourselves and this great nation.  My message to the people is to once again be proud to be independent.  Begin once more to rely on ourselves and each other.  Work hard, earn a living, and support yourselves in order to reach that most sought after American Dream.  As for government,  since when do you the Federal government think that you can run the U.S. better than her own people.  Stop regulating and taxing the life and blood out of this country and do what you were intended.  Protect the U.S. and her freedoms and her people,  but never think that you know more than the people of this wonderful land.

Yours truly,

Uncle Sam
